Mac's first date!
Our kids grow up knowing their first date
Our kids grow up knowing their first date will be with mom (the boys) or dad (the girls.)
I will get 3 dates out of the deal and Lou only 2!
Friday night I get a call on my cell,
"Yo, wanna go out?"
I laughed and said, "No, I'm busy!"
He called back and tried another approach-
which of course, I accepted!
We had a a really good time.
After a few dating 101 moments,
notice the chopstick picture...
he is ready to hit the dating world!
He opened doors, was a good listener, made me laugh,
told me I was beautiful...I have no worries. :)
Maybe that is the worry-
he is a little too charming!
I really lucked out on this Friday date night!
After Mac and I got home he watched the little ones,
while Lou and I went out for date # 2!

I love the first date! We did the same thing, and apparently Austin lost his wallet too.
Mac is a cutie. I bet he will have lots more wonderful dates in the future. But probably few will compare in beauty, fun, and quality to his first date.

Looks like such a fun date. It seems like I just had mine with Mitch and now he is 17, the fun thing is he still takes me on dates!

I did have to scramble a bit! At first he was like..." could we go out for breakfast?!" LOL! He did fit me in for a nice dinner though!
Gracie and Justin are already planning their "dates"! Justin wants to take me to Fuddruckers-but he is worried he won't be able to find it. Gracie is hoping for Disney Land, or Chucky Cheese!
TIME goes so FAST!
What a fun date! I think that this kind of tradition is so great! I think Gracie should keep shooting for the Disneyland date! A girl after my own heart! :)
Wow Mac knows how to get the best looking "older" woman for a date, I bet people really thought you were on a date, He will aways remember his date with his mom and how fun the rest of the kids are planning their dates they are so cute, Mac is so cute, I know he will have lots of fun, maybe he will have to have a date with his grandma for lesson 102 love you can't wait to see all of you!!!!!!

grandpa said we should go to boise for a weekend:) it would be so much fun to see your house and hometown!!

Hi Jolyn its stephanie (buhrley--hale--whatever!)i am showing this to ty in the hopes that he will let me be his first date!! he is the same age as mitch but im sure it seemed like yesterday that mac was their age!!
